Huckabee Polls 8% in Iowa, Ties McCain August 5, 2007

Though McCain is not the best candidate to be compared to these days, Huckabee’s similar polling numbers illustrate the momentum coming out of the Huckabee campaign:
Mitt Romney leading the Republican presidential race with 26%, followed by Rudy Giuliani at 14%, Fred Thompson at 13%, Mike Huckabee at 8%, and Sen. John McCain also at 8%.1

I think this says more about McCain’s campaign dying away, than Huckabee’s campaign gaining.
